NATIONAL TEAM SPELLING BEE COMPETITION

ObjectiveTo develop teamwork, collaboration, communication, confidence and collective problem-solving through a national team-based spelling competition. Schools will be encouraged to form teams of five students, creating an exciting alternative to individual academic competitions. Proposed Period-Launch & Registration: September 2026-Qualifying & Elimination Rounds: October–December 2026-National Final: December 2026 The programme will provide students with an opportunity to compete not only as individuals but as representatives of their schools and teams.

NATIONAL LITERACY CHALLENGE – BANGLADESH

ObjectiveTo promote a stronger culture of reading, comprehension, vocabulary, writing and critical thinking among Bangladeshi students.The challenge will provide students with a national platform to demonstrate literacy skills and will culminate in the recognition of the country’s top performers. Proposed Period-Launch: September 2026-Registration: September–October 2026-National Challenge & Finals: November 2026-Awards: November/December 2026

Bangladesh National Spelling Bee Championship

ObjectiveTo establish a national platform for discovering and developing Bangladesh’s strongest young spellers and creating a pathway for them to represent Bangladesh internationally.The programme will progress from school-level participation through district and divisional championships to a national championship, followed by structured training and international representation. Key Dates-Launch: September 2026-School Registration: September–October 2026-National Championship: April 2027-International Competitions – China: July 2027-Global Spell Bee: October 2027
